Phuket bars are numerous and great fun. Whether you’re a group of young Alpha males, a couple or a young family, there is plenty of room in the Phuket bars for you.

Especially of note in Phuket bars is the presence of the bar girls.

The owners of many of the Phuket bars encourage beautiful young women to come and sit in the bar. These women are there to encourage visitors into the establishment and then to spend more money once they are there. They work, and the Phuket bars are, more often than not, full. The girls are not offering sex services but they do try and get money for themselves: they have to earn a living and for some this is it.

The sheer number of bars can be quite staggering, and more so because they are all centered in one big area. You can’t stumble very far without falling into another bar (or restaurant, or market stall).

I would say that this is a definitely a vacation spot that I could recommend. Whether you’re interested in bars or not, there is something here for everyone. One word of advice to the boys: be wary of those beautiful bar girls!

Limewire remains one of the most popular services for people to get their hands on free music downloads. For a long time, the filesharing service has been part of the staple diet of most people’s Internet surfing habits. Want a song? Use Limewire. After a movie? Use Limewire.

Despite the problems and controversies surrounding filesharing, Limewire just won’t go away, no matter how hard the RIAA tries. The ever-developing list of functions on Limewire bears testimony to just how great the software is.

For a long, Limewire was only for PCs, but all that changed as Limewire rolled out Limewire for Macs. Mac users now have even more to brag about as they have access to a decent filesharing service that they can use to get music downloads.

Reviews of the filesharing service for Macs have been largely positive. The current version of Limewire for Macs is 4.18.3. The latest Limewire version adds a few tweaks to the program to make it even better.

I remember getting my first free Ares download. What a feeling! I’d stumbled across OfficialAres.com as a leading light in the field, I’d looked around that site for a while and absorbed, sponge-like, most of the information there. I checked their honest reviews of the different versions of Ares available, then chose my free Ares download. Away I went.

I had decided to make my first Ares download due to all the exposure music downloads were getting in the media: ironic really that the negative press made me want to know more about the product. Anyway, I decided to go to my computer straight away and get a free Ares download. Please with my decision? You bet.

Actually I was really glad that I’d decided to go to OfficialAres.com for help with my free Ares download. There really are a lot of options available and it’s pretty much a nightmare for a new user. The site held my hand just the right amount and I was confident with the decision that I finally made.

If I were to give advice to budding new users of Ares then I’d say this: check around and make sure you make the right decision. There are some bad eggs out there and you need all the help you can get to avoid them.

Some people have heard about the home business opportunity called Wealth Masters International – and so it should be: this is an excellent business opportunity that has created many successful entrepreneurs. What is not always made clear is that these successful entrepreneurs have not simply happened into their businesses: hard work and diligence has paid off. And that, I believe, is the way it should be.

This hard work ethic is something that not everyone has. In these cases marketing systems like Carbon Copy Pro try to capitalize in the desire to make ‘easy money’. Carbon Copy Pro is a marketing system based upon (but certainly not a part of) the Wealth Masters International opportunity. Carbon Copy Pro purports to offer a six figure income without any work at all; it claims to have created a fair number of millionaires since its inception in November 2007. Sound interesting? Of course it does.

Is this too good to be true? Well yes, actually. Predictably it is. Those who were unlucky enough to have believed in the Carbon Copy Pro system are undoubtedly going to be disappointed with the outcomes which are, by all accounts, much less than those offered at the outset.

eMusic is one of the most reliable websites out there for getting your hands on independent music. The website of eMusic is currently being given a major facelift to make it even better. eMusic will throw in a bunch of Web 2.0 features to offer even more music content that before.

This looks like a bold move for a music website, but it also looks like a smart one, especially considering the popularity of social media websites. eMusic will now import content from FlickR, Wikipedia and Youtube when users browse information about certain artists.

There will also be links for users to share content with friends over social sites such as Facebook and Twitter. With filesharing and BitTorrent so popular along with all these new social websites, eMusic looks to be onto a winner.

While music websites such as iTunes and Amazon stick to tried and tested formulas, eMusic looks to breaking the mould somewhat. This is surely the future for all music websites.

Okay, okay. I confess! I’m really not very technologically minded. When my son suggested that I grab some free music online I thought he was going mad. He told me to take a look at OfficialAres and, when I’d done that, to go ahead and download Ares software. I followed his instructions and, fortunately the site cleared up a lot of the questions I had about Ares, P2P filesharing (see, I even know the lingo!) and getting free music online.

Thanks to the unbiased reviews section on the site (these guys pull no punches when they don’t like a version of Ares!) I was able to find out all about the best way to download Ares before I went off and put the software on my machine. Without these reviews to help me decide which was the best place to download Ares from, I would’ve been just as likely to download a piece of trash than Ares Ultimate (which was what I plumped for in the end).

My decision to download was one I’m not regretting now, as I’m ploughing forward and grabbing some great ABBA tracks from the Ares network. While these are downloading I’m reading the Ares news on the Ares site. It’s great fun. Official Ares is more than just the best place on the Internet to download Ares.

Ellen Saylor could be your grandma. She’s a regular lady. Nothing out of the ordinary. All that changed when she was sent a letter by the folks at the Recording Industry Association of America claiming that she has downloaded 400 songs from the Internet.

Even though she barely knows how to use a computer, Ellen somehow managed to illegally download a bunch of songs. Ellen is now due in court and, if found guilty, she faces a fine of up to $750 per song.

Since 2003, the RIAA has filed about 30,000 against people accused of getting music downloads illegally. Among these 30,000 are students, single parents and very old people such as Ellen.

Jammie Thomas was last year ordered to pay $222,000 for illegal music downloads shared over the filesharing network Kazaa. Ellen faces a fine of $300,000. Who knows, maybe she is guilty and she has been downloading the Frank Sinatra back catalog, but this whole business of suing people for illegal music downloads is becoming farcical.

I love filesharing. I hate it when filesharing software doesn’t allow me to share files. To say I got frustrated with Ares Galaxy when it decided that the best way to start the session was to decide that Ares not connecting was the best way to proceed would be understating my wrath somewhat.

The problem with Ares not connecting seems to come from the fact that Ares Galaxy is not storing the list of ‘cnodes’ properly. What this means is that when the software is started back up it cannot find any nodes to connect to and, consequently, we get into the situation with Ares not connecting. Bad bad bad.

The problem of Ares connecting is not present in later versions of Ares: Ares Ultimate and Ares Vista are two shining examples. Why Ares Galaxy cannot fix this I do not know (probably complacency) but suffice to say I think you’ll be a lot better switching your allegiance to something a little more stable. I was glad I did, and I only wished I’d done it before.

Ares Galaxy is a piece of software that seems to be relying on its good name to get it through hard times. With so much competent competition around it seems that, in terms of capability, Ares Galaxy simply cannot compete with its contemporaries.

We’ve been saying for a long time how the solution to the standoff between filesharing advocates and the music industry would be a legal filesharing website. Well, it looks like just such a service could be launched in the UK soon.

There have been some serious talks going on between records labels and ISPs in the UK in an attempt to come up with a legal filesharing service by the end of 2009. South Korea was the first country to offer legal filesharing and it would be great if Britain were to follow suit.

The legal filesharing service would likely work on some kind of subscription-based setup. There’s no information about how much this would cost or how the system would work, but this is exciting news for people around the world because it could trigger similar initiatives in more countries.

Just imagine if students in the US had access to legal filesharing. The possibilities are endless.
